The Library Advisory Board is created by the Mayor and/or City Council. The board serves as advisors on policy matters to the City Council and City Manager who are responsible for the management and administration of city policies. The Board studies existing policy and makes recommendations for change or implementation. Although they do not have final authority to make or enforce rules, their research and advice to decision makers contribute to effective changes in local and state governments.There are currently 3 vacant positions on the Library Board.
